Eduardo is an environmental geochemist with 12 years of work experience in the mining industry. His passion is delivering applied research in the mining industry and fostering collaborations between industry professionals to reach innovative solutions for mine closure and mine waste management.

He has a BSc in Earth Sciences from Jacobs University (Bremen, Germany) and a MSc in Geology with a major in Geochemistry from the University of Freiburg (Germany). Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Canada) under the guidance of Dr. Matt Lindsay in Mine Closure Geochemistry.
