Chad Novotny is the Lead, Waste & Water at NexGen. He is accountable for leading the planning, design, and execution of waste and water facilities for the Rook I Project in northern Saskatchewan. He is an environmental engineer with over a decade of corporate, project development, operations, and consulting experience in mine water, mine waste, and tailings management. Prior to joining NexGen, Chad worked at Teck Resources where he lead the implementation of company-wide water governance, was the water lead on the Highland Valley Copper Mine Life Extension Project, and worked in operations at Red Dog Mine.
