Job title: Global Water Stewardship Lead
Alexis Morgan leads WWF’s global water stewardship efforts, a role that includes oversight of WWF’s Water Risk Filter tool. Over the past 15 years, he has led numerous corporate partnerships on water, including several in the mining sector. He currently sits on CDP Water’s advisory board and is the chair of the board of the Alliance for Water Stewardship. His extensive work on water stewardship and standards has contributed to the International Council on Mining Metal’s water stewardship guidance materials, the Mining Association of Canada’s recently published water stewardship protocol, and the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance’s standard on water quality. He lives in Vancouver, Canada and holds a masters in hydrology from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
