Dawn joined ICMM’s Environmental Stewardship and Social Progress programme in March 2017 as a Senior Programme Officer, focusing on water stewardship, climate change and closure.
Prior to joining ICMM, Dawn worked at Golder Associates, within their Rehabilitation and Closure team in South Africa for over 5 years. Here Dawn was responsible for undertaking rehabilitation and closure planning, and associated closure costing, to deliver various projects at a national and international scale. Dawn has also been involved in a number of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), undertaking key specialist assessments to ensure sustainable development.
Dawn has an MSc in Environmental Science from the Witwatersrand University of South Africa, a BSc Honours in Conservation and Biodiversity and a BSc in Environmental Science and Economics.
