Julio César Soriano Monzalvo has a degree in civil engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialty in the integral management of water resources, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has developed as coordinator of studies and projects in the Engineering Institute of UNAM, the National Water Commission, and currently serves as Deputy Coordinator of Surface Hydrology at the Mexican Institute of Water Technology. He has a recognized career in the study, observation, and monitoring of extreme hydro-meteorological events (droughts, floods), and the sustainable management of water resources.
