Konstantin Volchek, Ph.D., P.Eng. leads engineering research on water management at CanmetMINING, Natural Resources Canada in Ottawa. He obtained Ph.D. in chemical technology from the Mendeleev University in Moscow, Russia. After completing his post-doctoral studies at Environment Canada, Konstantin worked in several Canadian firms and Government laboratories and taught at a university. Konstantin’s experience includes water treatment, hazardous waste management and environmental site remediation. His research interests include hybrid membrane separation processes, adsorption and advanced oxidation. Konstantin is licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
