Margarete Kalin-Seidenfaden founder of Boojum Research Ltd an R& D firm which has developed ecologically based, self-sustaining decommissioning systems for mine waste and water management areas.
She received the Noranda Award for Outstanding Achievement in Reclamation and the Teck-Cominco Environmental Award. In 2005-06 she was a nominated Distinguished Lecturer by CIM (Canadian Institute Mining). She is a retired QEP (Qualified Environmental Professional) and a Senior Ecologist of the Ecological Society of America. She held adjunct professorships at several Canadian Universities published more than 100 scientific papers and contributed chapters to many books.
