Amira is an independent global not for profit organisation representing members from the resources industry seeking to enhance, sustain and deliver transformational research and development, innovation and implementation (R&D+I2) to the benefit of society. We help our Members (operators, explorers and service providers) leverage their R&D budgets by forming global collaborations to solve industry-wide challenges. Through our Futures Program we take an industry-first approach to the identification, prioritisation and co-ordination of R&D+I2 needs within particular focus areas. From these priorities, Amira draws on a global database of researchers to find the best brains to tackle our industry’s mega-challenges.
